Dr. Cañete trained in paediatrics at Hospital La Paz in Madrid and completed further training in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University. On returning to Spain, Dr. Cañete served for five years as Head of Paediatrics at Hospital San Rafael in Madrid, and later as Managing Director of Primary Care Area Six, Hospital Central de la Cruz Roja and Hospital Príncipe de Asturias in Alcalá de Henares.
For the past fifteen years, Dr. Cañete has been Head of Paediatrics at Hospital Universitario Infanta Sofía in San Sebastián de los Reyes, and is Professor of Paediatrics at Universidad Europea de Madrid. Published work includes book chapters, articles in national and international journals, and a patented medical invention.
Consultations are available in Spanish and English, with home paediatric visits across Madrid and the surrounding area.
